“World of Whiskey” Tiki Takeover

Discover the world of whiskey from around the world in a tropical paradise! JJ's Whiskey Club is TAKING OVER the Merara Tiki Lounge (owned by JJ's Julian Helsper)!  This * 5 * pour whiskey tasting event will feature 3/4oz pours of a
Kentucky bourbon,
Tennessee whiskey,
Canadian whiskey,
Japanese whiskey
and a “beginner” Scotch (from Scotland)… at the area’s only Tiki speakeasy: Merara Tiki Lounge (located in the Bassett’s shopping plaza at Rt. 53/Rt.163, inside the MacStack Tavern).   Event expert Cameron and host Caroline will take you on a journey around the U.S. and around the world that will surely teach you something new and provide a lot of fun and laughter.

Know Before You Go...

There is no secret handshake - you can enter the Merara Lounge to the left of the hostess stand when you enter MacStack.

6:00 PM - Arrival and check-in. Our full-service staff, sophisticatedly crafted Tiki menu, and cocktails are available when you arrive.  Seats are first come, first served... so be sure to arrive early!
* ALL ARE WELCOME! Not everyone in your party has to order the Whiskey flight.  There are plenty of signature Tiki cocktails and a full bar (including the area's best mocktails) to wet every whistle.   
6:30 PM - Tasting and fun begins!

8:00 PM - Event concludes, but you are welcome to stay for dinner or sit at the bar to mingle with fellow whiskey & Tiki enthusiasts.
* The Merara Lounge has its own unique menu.  MacStack menu items are only available in the restaurant.
